Water Heater Installs and Changeouts
Did you have a cold shower when you woke up this morning? We can take care of that. Whether your water heater is only 4 years old and still under warranty or 14 years old, we can get a new one delivered right to your doorstep and then be there to install it for you. You’ll be guaranteed a warm shower.
Radiant Floor Heating
Radiant floor heating provides a comfortable, even heat throughout your home. It also eliminates those cold, drafty rooms by concentrating the heat near the floor. Warm water flows through tubes located underneath the floors. The warmth radiates up from the floors and warms everything it comes in contact with. This is only the beginning of the benefits a radiant floor heat system offers; with cleaner air, and no unsightly ductwork or floor vents, your home will be quieter and more energy efficient compared to forced-air heat (can reduce heat bills by 20%-40%).
Drain lines can become clogged and make it hard for water to pass through. When this occurs we can unclog and clean them fast to get them back to normal.
We use softeners that are made and built locally in Ramsey. This enables us to keep the cost low for you and allows greater access to those sometimes hard to find service parts.
Faucet & Fixture Repair
Are you tired of looking at that old faucet that was installed 20 years ago? Whether it’s not working or you simply want to update the look of your bath or kitchen, we can help. There are many manufacturers that offer styles from traditional to contemporary to modern so you’re sure to find something to fit your style. If you’re looking to make a repair, don’t go to a big box store where are the parts are in the wrong bins and you can’t find anything. We deal with one of the largest plumbing supply companies in the U.S. so if we can’t get a part for your repair, they don’t make it.
RPZ Testing & Rebuilding
The Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota State plumbing code (4715.2161) requires mandatory testing of reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow preventers yearly and to be re-built or replaced every five years. This device is installed in a water line serving any potential water contamination source such as lawn irrigation or processing equipment. Only persons certified by the Department of Health may perform the required test. A certified, licensed plumbing contractor must do any rebuilding of an RPZ device. Other examples of RPZ equipment are dental equipment, car washes and boilers.
Pipe Inspection and Location Camera
Our Gen-Eye GL pipe inspection camera allows us to troubleshoot lines in size of 2”-10”. We have the capability of finding problems before cutting up concrete; saving time and money. The system has a DVD recorder and color camera so we can easily determine what is blocking the line. The built-in on-screen distance counter tells us how far the camera has traveled so we know exactly where the concrete needs to be removed so we can repair the pipe.
